Authorized Provider

ALASTIN by Galderma

MV Medical Aesthetics is a proud authorized ALASTIN Skincare Provider.

ALASTIN is built around the TriHex Technology platform - a peptide combination that supports the production of new collagen and elastin while helping clear out damaged proteins in the extracellular matrix. It is the line I reach for around in-office procedures, where the regenerative signaling fits naturally with what microneedling, peels, and laser work are already triggering.

The clinical data backing TriHex is more substantial than what backs most peptide claims in skincare. Patients consistently report results that match what the line promises.

When I recommend ALASTIN

ALASTIN is my primary recommendation for two patient profiles: patients who are about to do a series of in-office treatments (microneedling, peels, laser, energy-based) and want to optimize their results, and patients with mature skin who want a regenerative-focused at-home program rather than a primarily exfoliating one.

The TransFORM body treatment course before and after body work is one of the few skincare protocols I have seen produce clinical differences in real-world use. For patients doing body contouring or skin tightening, this is part of the plan.

Products I keep on hand

  • Restorative Skin Complex with TriHex: The core anti-aging serum. Good for daily use as a regenerative layer.
  • Regenerating Skin Nectar with TriHex: Specifically formulated for use before and after in-office procedures. Speeds visible recovery.
  • HA Immerse Serum: Hyaluronic acid layered for surface hydration and deeper plumping.
  • Restorative Eye Treatment: Specifically for the periorbital area where most patients see early aging changes.
  • TransFORM Body Treatment: The pre-and-post body work protocol I use with body contouring patients.
  • HydraTint Pro Mineral Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 36: The tinted mineral SPF I recommend to most patients in Houston given the year-round sun exposure.

Pairing ALASTIN with treatments

The post-procedure use case is where ALASTIN earns its place in my recommendations. The Regenerating Skin Nectar applied immediately after microneedling speeds visible recovery and appears to improve the eventual surface finish. The HydraTint sunscreen layer the morning after a peel is one of the things standing between a good peel result and a bad one in Houston.

For patients not actively doing in-office treatments, ALASTIN is a good standalone line for at-home regenerative work.

Pricing and availability

ALASTIN is priced competitively. We carry inventory in the practice and can also reorder for established patients. Some products are sold individually; some come in procedure-specific kits (the TransFORM kit is a common one we dispense around body work).

Common questions

How is ALASTIN different from ZO Skin Health?

Different philosophies. ZO is built around a daily-program structure of retinols, exfoliants, and antioxidants. ALASTIN is built around peptide-based regenerative signaling, especially around in-office procedures. Many of my patients use both - ZO as their daily program and ALASTIN around treatment sessions.

What is TriHex Technology?

A blend of peptides developed by ALASTIN to support new collagen and elastin production while helping clear out damaged extracellular matrix proteins. The clinical studies behind it are more substantial than what backs most peptide claims in skincare.

Do I need to use ALASTIN around every procedure?

Not strictly, but I recommend the Regenerating Skin Nectar around microneedling, peels, and laser sessions. The clinical difference in recovery is consistent enough that I bring it up at consultation for procedure patients.

Is ALASTIN safe in pregnancy?

Most of the line is - the peptides are not absorbed systemically. Patients who are pregnant or trying should still walk through the specific products at consultation to be safe.
