Serving the Independence Heights Area

Aesthetic Treatments Near Independence Heights

Independence Heights sits just north of us, across the North Loop. Most people in the 77018 and 77022 area get to MV in about five minutes - south on Yale or Airline, over I-610, and you are at 24th and Shepherd. That short hop is the whole point of this page. Injectable work in particular runs smoother when the follow-up visit is a quick drive rather than a project. A two-week check after neurotoxin is easy when you are right up the road.

The neighborhood has real history. Independence Heights was the first Black municipality incorporated in Texas, back in 1915. I mention it because it matters to the people who live there, and because I see those neighbors in the chair. We are at 2401 N. Shepherd, corner of 24th and Shepherd, with free covered parking under the building.

How Independence Heights patients get to us

From Independence Heights, head south on Yale or Airline, cross the North Loop, and pick up Shepherd. We are at 2401 N. Shepherd on the corner of 24th and Shepherd, on the right just south of the I-610 underpass.

What Independence Heights patients book most

The practice is small by design. I am the only injector here, so the person who does your consultation is the person who does your treatment and your follow-up. Independence Heights patients tend to book neurotoxin, filler, and a skin treatment or two. Nothing about the visit feels like a factory.

A few things that make the trip from north of the Loop easy:

  • Five minutes down Yale or Airline puts you at the door, so a quick Jeuveau or Dysport visit fits inside a lunch break with the drive included.
  • I-610 access is direct - no winding through side streets to reach Shepherd.
  • Free covered parking under the building means you are not circling for a spot or feeding a meter before your appointment.
  • For a Sculptra series or a microneedling course that needs a few visits, the short drive keeps the every-few-weeks rhythm from feeling like a burden.

Common questions from Independence Heights patients

How long is the drive from Independence Heights to MV?
Usually about five minutes, sometimes a little more in heavier traffic. You head south on Yale or Airline, cross the North Loop, and we are on Shepherd at 24th. It is a short, direct route.
Do you see patients from the 77018 and 77022 area?
Yes. A good number of my regulars live north of the Loop, and the short drive means I tend to see them more often, which helps with injectable results over time.
Where do I park?
In the free covered lot directly under the building at 2401 N. Shepherd. Use the entrance off 24th Street and take the elevator to Suite 229.
Can I come on my lunch break?
For a neurotoxin visit (Jeuveau or Dysport) or dermaplaning, yes - those fit in an hour with the drive each way. Filler, Sculptra, and Renuva appointments need a bit more time, so plan accordingly.
What treatments do you offer?
Neurotoxins (Jeuveau and Dysport), fillers (Restylane and Evolysse), biostimulators (Sculptra and Renuva), PromoItalia microneedling and the Mermaid Facial, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and medical weight loss with semaglutide. Each one has its own page on this site. Danna Qunibi, MD is our medical director, and I, Jillian Caldwell, PA-C, handle every appointment.
