Serving the Shady Acres Area

Aesthetic Treatments Near Shady Acres

Shady Acres is about as close to MV Medical Aesthetics as you can get without walking. For most of the neighborhood the drive is two to four minutes. We sit at 2401 N. Shepherd, on the corner of 24th and Shepherd, just south of I-610. If you live among the townhomes and new construction that fill so much of Shady Acres now, odds are you pass our corner already.

That closeness changes how the work goes. Injectables in particular do better with short, easy follow-ups, and a two-minute drive makes those visits feel like nothing. I run a single-injector practice on purpose, so the person who consults with you is the person who sees you back two weeks later. With Shady Acres, I get to do that more often.

How Shady Acres patients get to us

From most of Shady Acres you are already a couple of minutes out. Work your way to Shepherd or Durham - they run as a one-way pair - and aim for 24th Street. We are at 2401 N. Shepherd, right on the corner of 24th and Shepherd, just south of I-610. If you are coming down Durham, hop over to Shepherd a block or two before 24th.

What Shady Acres patients book most

Shady Acres is genuinely the home turf for this practice. A lot of my regulars live within a few blocks, and the ones who book most often come in for Jeuveau or Dysport, Restylane or Evolysse filler, Sculptra, and dermaplaning. Because I do every appointment myself, there is no handoff between visits - same hands, same plan, every time.

A few practical notes for Shady Acres neighbors specifically:

  • The Shepherd and Durham one-way pair makes getting here simple - both feed straight to 24th, and we are right on that corner.
  • A lunch-break neurotoxin visit is realistic when the drive is two to three minutes each way.
  • The two-week follow-up after Botox-class neurotoxins (Jeuveau and Dysport) is easy to keep when you are this close, which is part of why those results tend to hold up.
  • For a Sculptra series or a PromoItalia microneedling course that needs several visits a few weeks apart, the short hop keeps the cadence from feeling like a chore.
  • Parking is free and covered, under the building, with the entrance off 24th. No street hunting.

Common questions from Shady Acres patients

How close is MV to Shady Acres?
Very close - for most of the neighborhood it is a two to four minute drive. Shady Acres is the nearest area I serve, so a lot of my regulars are basically neighbors.
What is the easiest way to get there from Shady Acres?
Shepherd and Durham run as a one-way pair through the area. Whichever you are on, aim for 24th Street. We are right on the corner of 24th and Shepherd at 2401 N. Shepherd. If you are on Durham, slide over to Shepherd a block or two before 24th.
Can I really come in on a lunch break?
For neurotoxin (Jeuveau, Dysport) and dermaplaning, yes - easily. With a drive this short, the whole thing fits inside a lunch hour. Filler, Sculptra, and Renuva visits run a little longer, so plan a bit more time for those.
Where do I park?
Free covered parking is in the lot directly under the building. Use the entrance off 24th Street and take the elevator up to Suite 229. No street parking needed.
What services do you offer?
Neurotoxins (Jeuveau and Dysport), dermal fillers (Restylane, Evolysse), biostimulators (Sculptra, Renuva including Renuva for hands), PromoItalia microneedling and the Mermaid Facial, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and medical weight loss. Each has its own page on this site if you want the details. I work alongside our medical director, Danna Qunibi, MD.
